DIFFERENT METHODS OF GETTING COORDINATES (LONGITUDINAL AND LATITUDINAL) OF YOUR PROPERTY
You can get the coordinates of your house/property by using any of the following methods listed below
- Survey Map- as the owner of your property we hope you have a survey map of the land on which your property is built on. Pick up this map and look for the coordinate which will be clearly written on it. Write it in the box provided for the coordinates.
- Google Map/Default Map on android and IOS- touch and hold the location of your house on the map and drop the pin on the location to swipe up to reveal your coordinates. Check this YouTube link to find out how to do this.
- Compass- this is readily available for IOS (iPhone and iPad) users. Put on your location in the privacy settings and engage the usage of compass app under location settings to use the phone GPS. Open your compass app and take your readings at two different locations adjacent to each other
